Our in-house engineered chemistry is playing a critical role in creating efficiency gains through pumping pressure reduction, fracture optimization and interference avoidance. All of these can be achieved by our award-winning ThinFracTM family of friction reducers in conjunction with our proprietary REACHTM diverter system.

All chemical products in BJ’s portfolio have gone through comprehensive testing in the lab and been validated by field trials. We also provide customized fluid design to address specific customer needs.

SUPERIOR FRICTION REDUCTION FOR COMPLETION EFFICIENCY AND WELL PRODUCTION
The ThinFrac family of friction reducers contain high molecular weight synthetic polymers and are available in aqueous, slurry and solid forms. Our friction reducers can deliver the designed pressure reduction with the most challenging frac water compositions. BJ Energy offers anionic and cationic polymer based, and high viscosity friction reducers.

All friction reducers in BJ’s ThinFrac portfolio have gone through a rigorous qualification process. The ThinFrac family of products have been selected based on the performance of friction reduction, compatibility with TDS, viscosity development and economic considerations.
ADVANCED CROSSLINKED FORMULATIONS TO MAXIMIZE RESULTS
The RheoFrac family provides a clean solution through low polymer loading, advanced crosslinker formulation and superior breaker technology. Our clients can choose from a large portfolio of economical to specialty fluids, engineered for a variety of downhole conditions and water qualities.
ENGINEERED DIVERTING AGENTS FOR RESERVOIR COMPLEXITY AND FRAC INTERFERENCE AVOIDANCE
The REACH family consists of diverting agents that creates complexed fluid path to access more of the reservoir and deliver better production. The technology is effective in both far-field and near-wellbore applications and designed for use with friction reducers. The proprietary system under this family, REACH Complete, combines diverting agents with lightweight proppants to redirect fracturing fluids and proppants for increased fracture coverage.
ENHANCING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY
An engineered solution that provides temporary diversion to ensure complete stimulation of all perforated clusters in the targeted zones. It opens conductive flow paths, permanently connecting the wellbore to the reservoir. REACH Complete can be used in initial hydraulic fracturing treatments or refracturing applications.
Redirects the frac fluid and proppant to the perforation clusters and reservoir sections needed to maximize fracturing performance.
Temporary diversion to restrict fracture growth, helping to avoid frac interference while enhancing complexity in the reservoir.
